Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Director to oversee and enhance technology operations across international offices. This position focuses on delivering exceptional service, ensuring robust security measures, and seamlessly integrating IT as a vital component of business processes. The ideal candidate will have a customer-first approach, strong leadership abilities, and expertise in managing distributed teams and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
Develop and lead a customer-centric IT service organization with clear performance metrics and user satisfaction goals.
Supervise global help desk operations to guarantee responsive and proactive support.
Implement monitoring tools and self-service solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions for employees.
Establish and maintain endpoint security, mobile device management systems, and secure global connectivity.
Enforce zero-trust security frameworks, multi-factor authentication, and compliance with global data protection standards.
Collaborate with external cybersecurity vendors to deploy advanced protection strategies.
Manage contracts, licenses, and relationships with global IT vendors and service providers.
Oversee infrastructure upgrades, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery planning to ensure resilience.
Create and maintain detailed IT documentation, including playbooks, standard operating procedures, and user guides.
Lead and develop global IT teams, fostering accountability, transparency, and a security-first culture across time zones.
Requirements
Proven experience in deskside support and delivering excellent user services.
Strong expertise in deployments and managing computer hardware systems.
Knowledge of backup technologies and disaster recovery planning.
Familiarity with Cisco technologies and global IT infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and contracts effectively.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop distributed teams.
Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring tools and self-service IT solutions.
