RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Pontiac, MI that is seeking a hard-working, innovative, and curious Validation Test Engineer and Lead System Test Engineer to add to our Global Powertrain & Electrification Validation (GPEV) team. We ensure the design of our Electrified propulsion and powertrain products (Batteries, Drive Units, Power Electronics, Transmissions, Engines) delight our customers. REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Math, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Chemistry
* 2+ years of post-graduation engineering experience
* Demonstrated excellence in communication and collaboration in a diverse team environment
* Ability to learn complex system functions (i.e. engines) quickly
* Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
* Proficient with Inca and/or Puma
* Familiar with laboratory operations and test equipment including engine/transmission dynamometers, load frames, power supplies, electrodynamic shakers, environmental chambers, test site controllers, continuous monitoring, fixture design/fabrication, test equipment/setups, and laboratory accreditation standards
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
