Position Overview
The Client is seeking a Senior Developer to serve as a key resource for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting SAP Fiori, ABAP applications, and OpenText document management within a mature SAP environment. This role is critical in maintaining a robust production environment and participating in multiple high-complexity projects that align with NCDOT s corporate SAP strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement SAP solutions using ABAP, Web Dynpro, and Java with SAP HANA.
- Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using HTML5 toolkit, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
- Create SAP OData models using SAP Gateway Service Builder and CDS Views.
- Build and customize SAP Fiori/UI5 apps in SAP Web IDE, consuming Gateway OData/RESTful APIs, JSON services, and Git repositories.
- Extend, customize, and implement standard SAP Fiori components.
- Facilitate UX Discovery and Design Thinking workshops.
- Implement SAP Fiori Elements (List Report, Work List, Object Page, etc.) and SAP Annotations.
- Work with SAP Cloud Platform and Fiori Architecture (Cloud and On-Premise deployments).
- Configure and manage Fiori Launchpad Designer, Catalogs, Groups, and Portal.
- Utilize ABAP Development Tools in Eclipse and browser debuggers (Chrome/Edge).
- Perform SAP BSP development and work in SAP Business Application Studio.
- Engage in mobile app development for SAP Fiori iOS/Android.
- Configure and administer OpenText systems including Archive Center, Enterprise Scan, Imaging Windows Viewer, and Doculink for SAP.
- Conduct OpenText/SAP integration and customization (Doctypes, connections, content repositories, WebViewer).
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years ABAP, Web Dynpro, Java with SAP HANA.
- 7+ years SAP Fiori/UI5, OData models, Web IDE development, OpenText Administration, Enterprise Scan, Imaging Viewer, Doculink customization, OpenText/SAP integration.
- 6+ years SAP Cloud Platform, Fiori Architecture (Cloud & On-Prem).
- 5+ years Extending/customizing Fiori components, Fiori Launchpad, Eclipse ABAP tools, Chrome/Edge debugging, SAP BSP development.
- 4+ years SAP Fiori Elements and SAP Annotations.
- 3+ years UX Discovery and Design Thinking workshops.
- Desired 1+ years with SAP Business Application Studio and Mobile App development for SAP Fiori iOS/Android.
Additional Information
- Work Arrangement: Remote until further notice; onsite if NCDOT mandates return.
- Equipment: Candidate must use personal computer until onsite; NCDOT equipment provided once onsite.
