CapEx Project Manager

Project description:
Our client is currently evaluating 4-5 new pieces of equipment for their facility. The Project Manager will help scope and create the formal proposal for a Tablet Press, Tablet Printer, Laser Drill, and Solvent Control System. Once the equipment is selected, they will be looking for this consultant help with the validation of this new equipment and management of the overall project.
The team consists of 4 engineers, 2 contractors, 2 co-ops, 1 project manager, and an Engineering Manager.
Technology environment the consultant will be working in:
Consultants day-to-day responsibilities:
Scope the project: budgeting, quoting, working with MS Project by creating GANT Charts, and coordinating with vendors around design, lead times, and build phase
Manage overall timelines for the project
Schedule upcoming tasks and update timelines
Participate in meetings with team members
Oversee validation of new equipment
Draft IQ OQ PQs and Preventative Maintenance Documents for the new equipment
Required Skills:
Previous experience as a Project Manager in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing setting, to include:
o Scoping CapEx Projects budgeting, quoting, using MS Project (GANT Charts), coordinating with vendors around design, lead times, and build phase
o Technical Writing - Drafting SOP's for IQ OQ PQ and Preventative Maintenance Procedures
o Oral Solid Dose and Tablet Manufacturing experience
o Experience managing or performing validation of manufacturing equipment

Develop and modify Yaskawa robot programs based on project specs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot robotic issues.
Collaborate with engineering and production for system integration.
Perform system testing and validation.
Provide technical support and training to team members.
Maintain documentation for robotic systems and programming changes.
