**Onsite | Greenwood Village, CO**
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Wi-Fi Test & Certification Engineer with extensive experience in testing and certifying Wi-Fi Access Points and controllers. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, hands-on networking experience, and strong problem-solving skills to ensure optimal performance and stability of wireless products.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
- Perform test and certification of Wi-Fi Access Points and controllers (7+ years of experience required).
- Develop test setups, create test case procedures, and execute tests to ensure performance and stability of wireless products.
- Conduct Wi-Fi troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for both OTA and backend networks using protocol communications test equipment, analyzers, and packet sniffers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high customer and operational satisfaction.
- Work independently while effectively communicating with teammates and stakeholders.
Experience Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Strong motivation to learn new technologies and concepts.
- Excellent industry knowledge and theoretical understanding of IEEE 802.11 specifications: a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, SISO, MIMO, MCS index, 802.11k/v/r.
- Extensive hands-on networking experience with 802.11 APs, Cable Gateways, Routers, Switches, etc.
- Proficiency in Wi-Fi controllers: Smart Zone, SCG, ZD, WLC, CAPWAP, and GRE tunneling (strong plus).
- Deep understanding of WLAN Security: authentication, encryption, RADIUS, AAA authentication, 802.1x/EAP, PSK, etc.
- Understanding of RF transmissions and antenna behavior: MU-MIMO, Link Budget, Propagation, Optimization.
- Exposure to RF design: Active and Passive surveys using AirMagnet, Ekahau, IBWave, PLANET, ATOLL, and performance tools.
- Strong knowledge of Carrier Wi-Fi network KPI analysis using SCI, Prime, 7Signals, Orchestra AI.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols: bridging, routing, TCP/IP, DHCP, ARP, DNS, NAT, STP.
- Experience using test automation tools: Spirent, Octobox, Keysight IxChariot, OmniPeek.
- Strong scripting skills for test case automation.
