Job Details

Job Title: Google Cloud Platform MLOPs & Vertex AI Specialist(L6)

Location: Canada / US (remote), once a while onsite visit required

Duration: Long term

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform Ecosystem including : DataFlow, BigQuery, Gemini, VertexAI (including both 1st - 3rd Party Generative & ML models ), with a focus on Foundational Models Agentic AI. The successful candidate will be both a diet and a mentor. They will have implemented/refactored large systems within Google Cloud Platform Ecosystem ; have built both analytical pipelines and worked within them from EDA to Model Development, Evaluation, Scaling to Production, and Observability of Models in Production. They have the ability to mentor both internal and client teams in Google Cloud Platform best practices, and successful model based application development within VertexAI& Gemini.

Your Core Skills:Google Cloud Platform MLOPs, VertexAI Model Building, Mentoring Internal & Client Teams.

Work with Clients to both & build & deploy ML/AI/Agentic Modelling Architecture & Mentor on Best Practices for using and developing model based applications within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem. Work with internal AI/ML teams to develop best practices within Google Cloud Platform Ecosystem. Work with internal specialists to build accelerator components that allow Intuitive to speed service delivery .

Technical Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in ML/AI. 3+ years in Generative AI and Agentic systems.
  • Strong Expertise in Google Cloud Platform, with emphasis on building scalable model based applications using VertexAI.
  • Broad AI/ML breadth and depth on data transformations, EDA, model training/retraining, model evaluation, scaling model based applications to production, observability of models in production.
  • Strong familiarity with best practices for Regression, Tree, Neural Network, Classification models.
  • Engagement with emerging best practices for LLM, Generative AI, Foundational & Open Source or Third Party models.
  • Experience developing analytical pipelines within Google Cloud Platform ecosystem using: DataFlow, BigQuery, Gemini, VertexAI.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree (MSc, PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or Allied fields.
  • Certifications in Google Cloud Platform ecosystem components described above.
