Job Title: Project Manager

Client: NYS Office of Information Technology Services (NYS ITS)

The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the project, responsible for driving successful execution from initiation through completion. This role ensures that all project activities are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with required accessibility standards. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proven experience managing technical or government-related projects, and the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and oversee all project deliverables, milestones, and timelines to ensure successful and timely completion.
• Act as the central liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and the client.
• Provide clear and consistent communication, including progress updates, risks, and issue resolutions.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver project documentation, status reports, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and resource availability.
• Identify potential risks or delays and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Support project planning activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task management.

Qualifications: (Optional add if needed)

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within government or IT environments.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508, ADA compliance).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work onsite at the New York location as required.
