Title: Senior Business Analyst (Insurance Domain)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in the insurance domain.
  • The ideal candidate will have 10-14 years of relevant experience and possess a deep understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating them into actionable insights to drive strategic initiatives and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements related to insurance products, processes, and systems.
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of business needs and regulatory requirements, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and best practices to recommend innovative solutions to address business challenges and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Leverage extensive experience in the insurance domain to provide subject matter expertise and insights to cross-functional teams.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes impacting the insurance landscape, and assess their implications on business operations.
  • Evaluate existing business processes and workflows, identifying areas for optimization, automation, and efficiency gains.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to design and implement streamlined processes and procedures that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze data related to insurance claims, policies, premiums, and other relevant metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Develop and deliver insightful reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Lead and/or contribute to cross-functional project teams, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of business analysis activities within established timelines and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions that meet business requirements and objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CBAP) preferred.
  • 10-14 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of success in the insurance domain.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, claims management, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, requirements management tools, and project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving initiatives from conception to implementation.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
