Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer - Networking Focus
We are currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a key focus on networking to join our team situated in Richmond, KY! Please note, this is a full-time, immediate fill position of high responsibility in our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on management and troubleshooting of Windows desktop and VMware environments.
- Ensuring secure and smooth connectivity of Active Directory domain joins.
- Delivering reliable Communications troubleshooting between switch and PCs.
- Capable of managing Microsoft 365/0365 Cloud Environments.
- Implementing security best practices in line with company policy, while also being able to establish rules on security platforms such as CrowdStrike.
- Understanding traffic in an environment without threat hunting.
- Assisting in planned shutdowns of systems for maintenance and updates, well in advance.
- Providing support to IT director and colleagues as needed and maintaining good lines of communication within the team.
- Managing Azure/Exchange online environment and setting switch ports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Heavy knowledge in security is a must.
- Extensive experience and skills in high-level troubleshooting (Tier 3 and above).
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and handle interpersonal communications professionally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deal with complex technical issues.
- Trustworthiness and reliability are deemed highly important.
Additional Requirements:
- The role includes a small amount of travel up to approximately 10% within the U.S.
- On-call rotational duties apply; however, we value our team's contributions and offer overtime compensation for salaried team members who work additional hours.
- The job offers the flexibility of two static remote workdays per week.
