Job Details

This role has shifted away from cloud migration and QuickSight to focus on stabilizing and operating large, on-prem Tableau and Altery environments. The immediate need is strong enterprise-scale administration, performance optimization, and 24x7 operational support.


Key Requirements
Tableau & Altery server administration (installations, upgrades, certificates, security, backup/restore)
Performance monitoring and troubleshooting across large, multi-environment deployments
Incident response and SLA-driven triage
Administrative scripting and automation using
Power Shell and Python
Nice to Have
AWS experience for future cloud initiatives (QuickSight not required)
Environment Highlights
Self-service and governed SDLC Tableau environments
Active-passive data centers with disaster recovery
Heavy mobile/iPad dashboard usage
Altery platforms running ~40,000 jobs daily with tier-1
SILAS
Operational Considerations
Performance issues driven by Teradata Redshift migration
24x7 on-call rotation including nights and weekends
