Role Summary:
Seeking a Fortinet Field Engineer with hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Fortinet s suite of network security products, including FortiGate Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and SD-WAN solutions.
This role involves on-site client engagement, troubleshooting, and implementation of advanced network and security infrastructures.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in firewall policies, VPN configuration, routing/switching, and network performance optimization, with the ability to translate client requirements into secure and scalable solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
Seeking a Fortinet Field Engineer with hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Fortinet s suite of network security products, including FortiGate Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and SD-WAN solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 10 years of experience in network engineering or cybersecurity, with 3+ years hands-on Fortinet experience.
- Strong understanding of routing/switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, IPsec, NAT, ACLs).
- Proven experience with firewall rule configuration, VPN setup (site-to-site and remote access), and SD-WAN deployment.
- Familiarity with FortiOS, FortiGate HA, FortiAuthenticator, and FortiAnalyzer logging/reporting.
- Exposure to Cisco or Palo Alto environments a plus.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Layer 2 Layer 7 network and security issues.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills for on-site customer engagement.
- Relevant certifications such as NSE 4 NSE 7 strongly preferred.
Preferred Certifications:
- Fortinet NSE 4/5/6/7
- CCNA / CCNP Security (or equivalent)
- CompTIA Security+ / Network+
