Intermediate Application Developer - Remote / Telecommute

Responsibilities:

• Deliver programming and analysis tasks to support system development and application maintenance.
• CollaboXX with business units to ensure technical solutions meet stXXgic and functional needs.
• Write high-performing, quality code with minimal defects.
• Configure development environments when required.
• Support implementation of full application products into production.
• Conduct impact analysis of functional designs on existing applications.
• Deliver technical design and database structure for medium to high complexity applications.
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Focus testing efforts on critical system features.
• Ensure unit tests cover appropriate application portions.
• Prepare data for testing environments.
• Quickly understand application functionalities and workflows.
• Efficiently resolve and track production defects.
• Track and report time and task status.
• Contribute to Application Lifecycle Planning and coordinate release schedules.
• Prioritize service requests and ensure releases remain on schedule.

Requirement/Must Have:

• College or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Agreed to Criminal Records Check and Enhanced Security Clearance (including credit check).
• 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• 5 years of experience creating user training materials, technical documentation, and support resources.
• 5 years of experience as an Application Developer in a large enterprise IT environment.
• 5 years of experience in a data warehouse/business intelligence or relevant data environment.
• 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL processes and data pipelines.

Should have:

• 3 years of experience with Agile methodology.
• 3 years of experience with smoke testing, unit testing, system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• 3 years of experience with UAT processes in large, multi-stakeholder environments
• 3 years of experience in the public sector.
