Job Details

Title: COBOL Developer Location: 3 days a week onsite Florham Park NJ Duration: 6+ months Independent visas ---Must go onsite for one and done Interview

****Need to be a SR Candidate needs Great communication and soft skills, able to hold conversation and also speak in great detail about their skill set technically and projects they have worked on. Must Haves:
COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL/ PROC on IBM mainframe.
FIS OMNI
Requires programming skills, involved in the development of software applications. Knowledge of programming languages to develop necessary specifications for the software by following the technical designs.
In specific cases, knowledgeable on Agile/iterative development methodologies will be required (and called out).

Qualifications
Mandatory Skills 10+ years relevant client experience
Mainframe COBOL experience
Proficient in ChangeMan, Control-M, SPUFI, QMF, CLISTs, REXX, INSYNCH UTILITIES
Experience with Mainframe CICS REST Web Service
Experience with Mainframe JSON and XML
Experience with OmniPlus recordkeeping system
Experience with FIS
Analytical experience
Proficient in multiple data environments including DB2 and VSAM files
Proficient in JCL, SQL, CICS command level
Experience with MVS, TSO, ISPF
Proficient with AGILE and SCRUM methodology and ability to work in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Self-starter
Strong application debugging skills
Proven ability to work closely with other team s members to achieve project goals
Results-driven and goal-oriented
Must be able to work autonomously with minimum supervision
