Core Banking Systems Administrator Overview
Our client, a member-focused credit union, is seeking a skilled Core Banking Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our core banking systems, with a focus on Fiserv DNA and related technologies. This role ensures the seamless operation of critical financial systems, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional service to our members. Key Responsibilities
Our client, a member-focused credit union, is seeking a skilled Core Banking Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our core banking systems, with a focus on Fiserv DNA and related technologies. This role ensures the seamless operation of critical financial systems, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional service to our members. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining secure and efficient banking operations.
Key Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage, configure, and maintain the Fiserv DNA core banking system, along with surrounding technologies such as Nautilus for archive systems and MoveIT for secure data transfer and feeds, to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Intake, prioritize, and resolve tickets related to core banking systems, providing timely support to internal teams and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Change Control: Execute and document change control processes, ensuring system changes are thoroughly tested, approved, and implemented with minimal risk to operations.
- Updates & Upgrades: Plan and execute system updates, patches, and upgrades for Fiserv DNA, Nautilus, and MoveIT, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to minimize downtime.
- Data Integrity: Monitor and maintain data accuracy across systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Security Management: Implement and monitor security protocols for Fiserv DNA, Nautilus, and MoveIT to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NCUA, FFIEC).
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with departments to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing system efficiency and user experience across integrated platforms.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate and analyze reports from Fiserv DNA and related systems to support decision-making and operational needs.
- Training & Documentation: Provide training to staff on system functionality and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and change control processes.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with Fiserv and other third-party vendors to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and ensure system compatibility with other platforms.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in administering Fiserv DNA or similar core banking systems.
- Hands-on experience with Nautilus for archive systems and MoveIT for secure data transfer.
- Experience in financial services or credit union operations is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Fiserv DNA system administration and configuration.
- Knowledge of Nautilus archive systems and MoveIT for data transfer and feeds.
- Familiarity with database management (e.g., SQL) and system integration.
- Understanding of IT security practices and compliance requirements.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tickets in a fast-paced environment.
