Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide cyber engineering expertise in support of the USINDOPACOM contract, ensuring robust and secure multi-domain training and experimentation environments
- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect training infrastructure from cyber threats
- Develop and manage cybersecurity plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Perform risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate cyber risks
- Integrate cybersecurity solutions into existing IT and network systems to enhance overall security posture
- Monitor network and system security logs to detect and respond to potential security incidents
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Experience as a Cyber Engineer, preferably within a military or defense environment
- Experience with risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, DoD RMF)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and network security
- Must be able to obtain a current Passport and be willing to travel up to 25%
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must have an Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
