Job Details

As an HRIS Workday Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining the ticket log and providing support for Workday modules, interfacing with clients and internal business teams to address business problems, issues, and opportunities. You will analyze business information, translate requirements into functional specifications, and champion client and/or internal business needs throughout the delivery lifecycle. Your role will involve:

  • Determining activities necessary for Requirements Management, including stakeholder identification and selection of appropriate techniques.
  • Organizing and synthesizing complex information from stakeholders into clear, comprehensive requirements.
  • Facilitating requirement sessions and using various elicitation techniques to obtain necessary information.
  • Understanding business problems and recommending solutions while considering client environments.
  • Analyzing feasibility and resource changes resulting from requirements modifications.
  • Participating in the development of testing strategies and test plans to ensure accurate validation of requirements.
  • Managing conflicts, issues, and changes to requirements to maintain agreement on solution scope.
  • Designing, configuring, testing, and implementing Workday features, business processes, and enhancement requests.
  • Providing product support for various Workday modules via FreshService.
  • Conducting gap analysis and recommending process optimization opportunities.
  • Gathering, building, and testing requirements for multiple modules within Workday HCM, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, and Recruiting.
  • Creating advanced reports and dashboards based on business needs.
  • Participating in various HR projects to provide technical HR system support.
  • Collaborating with the technical team on all HR-related integrations, including managing current integrations and developing future integrations.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience using Workday / Knowledge of HCM/business process configuration. Experience in benefits and/or reporting a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree desired.
  • 3+ years of experience writing detailed business and functional requirements.
  • Experience in working with HR partners to drive requirements in HRIS function preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, configuring, and testing solutions in Workday related to HRIS.
  • Ability to resolve incident tickets and enhancements as per defined SLAs.
  • Working towards Certified Business Analysis Professional Certification.
  • Certification in Workday HRIS or finance desired.
