Job Title:Product Manager Location: Reston,VA

Note: This is a hybrid role; go to onsite work 3 days a week in Reston, VA.
Job Description:
Some of the challenges the team is facing is Product owner term in the industry is varied term. Most of the candidates working with Federal clients or Freddie are product owners but not aligning to the Product owner we require.
We follow agile by the book.
Someone who is Scrum or Agile Alliance is the best match.
Also most of the candidates are not exactly have mortgage or Multifamily experience, which is of high priority.
Product owner responsibilities prioritize to get what is required to the stakeholders.
Will be closely partnering stakeholders to understand and break the requirement.
Salesforce experience is highly preferred.
Architectural experience with AWS.
Technology knowledge with platforms and use cases.
A lot of jump in n outs of the projects will be a negative.
Use cases are pretty simple on how you break and share the requirement to developers.
Someone who knows day to day tasks of a product owner will be considered.
Product Backlogs, Breaking features, epics and use cases.
Someone who will take the product to delivery.
- Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the voice of the customer and business within the product team, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution.
Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements.
Translate requirements into clear, concise features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-groomed and ready for development.
Partner with UX, engineering, QA, and business teams to deliver high-quality product increments.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demos.
Provide thought leadership on product design and system impacts, ensuring scalable and sustainable solutions.
Analyze and communicate system impacts of new features and changes, bridging the gap between business and technology.
Understand and evaluate technical solution designs, ensuring they align with business requirements and long-term product strategy.
Required Qualifications: 10 15 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role.
Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders across business and technology teams.
Strong experience in writing user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and understand downstream impacts of changes.
Ability to understand complex technical solution designs and collaborate effectively with architects and developers.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on Salesforce-based platforms, especially in complex enterprise environments.
Background in financial services or loan origination systems is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence.
