Oracle ERP Finance Analyst
Contract: 6 Months+
Remote (Occasional Travel Required)

Client is looking for an IT Business Analyst with a techno-functional skill set to join the Global Technology Organization (GTO) Corporate Systems Applications group that supports Finance and Supply Chain functions. AS400 is the legacy application and the main application used by these groups. The IT BA will heavily focus on transitioning the American Girl B2B order processing and work order management along with inventory direct procurement for Client.
Responsibilities
- Business analysis, assist in requirements gathering
- Oversee reporting sub-workstream to ensure development milestones are met
- Work with business/functional teams and development team, testing facilitation, and deployment of Oracle enhancements and projects
- Verify all requirements have a test script to support it
- Support project manager, team leader and lead business analyst as needed
- Support testing and conversions
- Drive test preparation list to ensure all tasks are completed before each testing cycle
- Manage and track lists of skus and transactions used for testing purposes
- Test preparation / Script preparation / Defect resolution
- Support data validation activities by the business
- Test execution
- During testing cycles, provide instructions to technology team to run integrations and communicate with testers when complete
- Document processes to support training needs as needed
- Provide written and verbal statuses to manager/project manager level resources on a scheduled or ad-hoc basis - keep JIRA tickets updated with status of progress
- Support go-live preparation and production rollout activities
Qualifications
- 5 years Business Analyst experience
- Experience in O2C or Req to Pay processes
- Experience in Oracle ERP finance - on-prem and/or Oracle cloud environments a plus
- Comfortable with integrations and middleware
- AS400 experience a plus
- Excellent critical thinking skills to help address and resolve business issues
- Ability to communicate effectively across IT/Business teams
- Plan and organize tasks, report progress, and manage and coordinate with project consultants and Client resources
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicting priorities
- Self-starter, takes initiative to simplify, resolve issues, continually improve processes and take on new opportunities
- Comfortable with IT documentation
- Comfortable working in JIRA
