At UKG, our Engineering, Product, Innovation, and Cloud teams (or EPIC), are the driving force behind our cutting-edge technology. We are seeking a curious and passionate software engineer to join the Dev Platform team. You will be responsible for understanding, developing, enhancing, and fixing tools, framework, infrastructure, and solutions that enable colleagues and their teams to develop and run automation and testing services for various UKG products, and projects. This role also includes collaboration and coordination with Product Management, Architect, Development teams, and QA teams to understand the requirements, implement the solutions, identify the problem areas, and propose solutions.

Responsibilities:
Candidate should have good experience and skills to develop tools and automation frameworks for SaaS applications
Should be a good learner in industry standard frameworks, solutions, architecture, and the latest tools and technologies
Should have a good understanding of collating requirements, design, development of solutions, and implementation
Ability to troubleshoot the issues and perform root cause analysis of the issues identified
Should have excellent communications skills and capabilities to work with remote teams spread across various geographies, time zone
Good analytical skills, teamwork, and fast learner
Candidate should have good intent and experience in Collaboration, establishing trust, accountability for deliverables and customer-focused to deliver solutions looking at the big picture

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
1-3 years of professional experience
Knowledge and experience in backend and frontend JavaScript/Typescript (Node.js, NPM, React, Angular, etc.)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration (GitHub actions, Teamcity, Jenkins) automation frameworks, Container-based deployment
Some exposure to Kubernetes & Cloud Infrastructure - Google Cloud Platform or AWS preferred.
We work in a hybrid model. Being onsite 3 days per week in our Weston office is required. Local candidates highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in multiple programming languages (JavaScript/Typescript, C#, Java, Python, Groovy, Shell, etc.)
Experience with MERN stack
Experience with UI and API automation tools and frameworks including Nightwatch, Selenium, and Rest Assured/Soap UI for API Automation
Knowledge and experience with static code analysis and its integration with CI/CD Pipeline
Understanding of quality and testing principles and practices
Desire to work in a collaborative team setting
Bachelor of Engineering with Computer Science or equivalent experience
