Job Details

Akkodis is seeking a Workday Financials Lead for a contract job with a client in Iselin, NJ. Must hold a BS/BA in technical discipline to be considered for this role. Responsible for building technical and functional solutions for various Workday ERP Modules ensuring solutions are designed, configured and customized following Workday best practices. Will identify system issues, conduct analyses, and form conclusions.

Rate Range: $55/hr. to $70/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Workday Financials Lead job responsibilities include:

Configure and Customize Workday financial system and modules using Workday business process framework

Design, develop and support integrations using Workday Studio, Cloud Connect and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) with other applications using OOB connectors and custom API orchestration

Provide support, develop custom reports, prepare ad-hoc queries using Workday reporting features and calculations

Maintain, test, and deploy Workday business processes

Maintain process and procedure documentation related to the systems and maintain best practices to ensure Workday scalability across the global business

Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, Procurement, Revenue, Accounting, Account Payable, Project Billing and Revenue Recognition teams to analyze and gather business requirements, translate into functional and technical designs, and implement relevant solutions within Workday Financials

Provide system support and training for Finance to ensure Workday user fluency for processes and meet ever changing business requirements

Manage security administration, creating and maintaining existing security roles, and providing new user access to different components of the tool

Develop and prepare summary analyses to validate system accuracy

Desired Qualifications:

BS/BA in technical discipline is required.

Minimum Five years related experience.

Experience working with the Workday Financials across Revenue Management, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Expenses & Billing

Workday Financials Certification demonstrating expertise in managing finance related tasks within Workday Platform

A deep understanding of the Workday platform capabilities, integration patterns, and strong analytical skills to design scalable, high-performing solutions

Capable of translating complex Finance processes into technical flow/ specifications and solutions taking specific strengths and limitations into consideration

Have a solid understanding of the data flow across disperse systems, its challenges and best practices involved in maintaining data integrity, for reliable cross-platform reporting and reconciliation

Support the ongoing development, maintenance and administration of Workday across the global business, work with leadership from the business and technical teams

Must be able to take initiative and proactively improving processes with alignment from the key stakeholders

Serve as a Workday product specialist, building relationships with our stakeholders across the globe as well as third-party vendors to ensure that the services and solutions provided meet existing and future business ne
