Job Details

Title: AWS GovCloud Administrator
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Houston, TX, 2 remote)

We are seeking an experienced AWS GovCloud Administrator to design, secure, and manage cloud infrastructure in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS services, infrastructure automation, and cloud security in both commercial and government cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage secure AWS GovCloud architectures

  • Automate infrastructure using CloudFormation/Terraform (IaC)

  • Configure EC2, S3, IAM, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, and Glue ETL

  • Manage Iceberg, EMR Serverless, Bedrock (AI/ML), and ETL pipelines

  • Implement AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and Security Hub

  • Administer Secrets Manager, KMS, and monitoring/alerting systems

  • Ensure compliance with FedRAMP and internal security policies

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years as an AWS Administrator

  • AWS GovCloud experience preferred

  • Proficient in EC2, S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Bedrock, and IaC tools

  • Strong understanding of AWS security services and compliance standards

  • Skilled in troubleshooting and performance optimization
