Akkodis is seeking a Product Engineer for a Contract job with a client in North Hollywood, CA(Hybrid). The ideal candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in SolidWorks/Catia software.
Rate Range: $64/hour to $83/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

This position requires the use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $64.00 to $83.00 per hour

Product Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Work as Technical Lead to groom and guide the team.
- Interact with customers to understand requirements and manage new product introductions.
- Develop methods/processes for task execution and control.
- Track in-service reliability and conduct investigations.
- Review non-conforming materials and manage production modifications.
- Handle obsolescence management.
- Collaborate with offshore teams and ensure project requirements are met.
- Utilize SolidWorks/Catia software for design and development tasks.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and manage tight deadlines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product engineering and SolidWorks/Catia software.
- Proven ability to manage new product introductions and in-service reliability tracking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
