Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for a Scrum Lead / Project Manager with a major corporation, on-site in Santa Monica, CA.
Duration: 18 month(s)
Pay Rate: $80 - $86/hr DOE
Must Haves:

  • Media/digital media is a plus.
  • This team is an acquisition team- on the front end they acquire media and send it out to sites. Will be working with service integrations and workflows.
  • Digital supply chain is a plus.
  • Successful candidate is collaborative, can translate technical conversation to layman's terms, is analytical, can forecast.
  • Must have some level of comfortability with Metadata - will be working with.

The Scrum Lead / Project Manager will be an integral part of the Media Platform Program
Management team. DE&E Tech creates products, platforms, and innovations for The Company by driving the strategic development and use of technology, building scalable

This is a contractor position within the DE&E Tech Program Management Organization.

The Scrum Lead / Project Manager will work with Product and various Engineering teams to facilitate and support Agile ceremonies and coach scrum teams on Agile best practices and principles to enable the delivery of high value product increments to our users.
Successful candidates must be highly proactive, detail-oriented, and able to autonomously work on concurrent implementations across matrixed teams both inside and outside the Entertainment & Technology (DE&E Tech) department. They must be capable of clearly
communicating schedules, risks, issues, and processes to a variety of business, creative, and technical audiences. They must be able to partner with other project managers and technical leads outside their area to coordinate work, deliverables, and schedules.
Lead agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint plannings, backlog refinements,
retrospectives, and demos.
Provide support using a servant-leadership style, facilitate discussions and decision
making in meetings, and resolve team impediments at multiple levels of an organization.
Coach teams in their journey to Agile, support their self-organization and agile
methodology knowledge growth.
Use tools and techniques to support the team in shipping high quality software
increments such as User Stories, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration,
Continuous Testing, Automated Testing and Burndown charts.
Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on Team / Project progress and
quality and know how to leverage those metrics to identify needs
Manage projects that impact the scrum team, including identifying upstream
dependencies and developing project plans/timelines for project deliverables.
Forecast and communicate delivery times and dependent scope that other software
engineering teams depend on a timely delivery.
Facilitate coordination with other teams to align on technical decisions and
dependencies for project deliverables.
Holds functional managers accountable for their teams' deliverables.
Identifies and manages issues and risks and drives decision making.
Communicates team and project status and schedule updates
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in technical program management and software
application development.
Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Lead for cross-functional agile teams.
Experience understanding technical architecture and technical dependencies related to
service integrations and databases.
Demonstrated experience as a Technical Project Manager in a large, matrix
organization.
Working knowledge of Jira/Confluence supporting agile methodologies.
Experience with the software development life cycle.
Desire to learn and take on additional responsibilities as appropriate.
Anticipate working with teams on East or West Coast hours, with flexibility to work
outside of regular office hours to accommodate important meetings in different time
zones.
Required Education:
BS STEM + 10 yrs experience/ No Degree=17Years experience
