Senior System Network Administrator

We are hiring a Senior Network and Systems Admin to start immediately.

• This is a contract to hire position


• Hourly Rate is up to 60/hour on W2, salary is up to 120k/year upon conversion


• We are looking for someone who is able to maintain, troubleshoot and fine tune the network, servers, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and basic security monitoring


• Reporting using Salesforce, SQL, and PowerBI


• A big plus will be someone who knows Styeline, and experience working within the manufacturing environment that will be preferred


• Looking for someone with at least 8 years of experience

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform systems administration and user support, including applications, databases, and telecommunication.


• Maintain the Hyper-V Cluster and the healthy replication of virtual servers.


• Maintain the topology of the network, including procedures and troubleshooting steps.


• Deploy new virtual servers as needed and configure the required software.


• Set up new users, troubleshoot hardware and software computer issues.


• Set up, configure, and maintain Firewalls and switches.


• Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the Network infrastructure.


• Troubleshoot VPN connectivity problems.


• Manage and maintain VoIP infrastructure.


• Perform, analyze, and manage Network/data backup.


• Monitor network security and utilize required applications to prevent cyberattacks and unauthorized access.


• Troubleshoot Office 365 issues (bounce back emails, non-delivery reports, DNS, MX Records, etc.).


• Create and configure Group Policy and Organizational Units to improve security.


• oPerform administrative tasks in Syteline and Salesforce (create new users, set up default printers, set permissions, etc.).


• Create custom reports using Salesforce, SQL, Microsoft Access, SSRS, and Power BI.


• Research and recommend new software and hardware to improve security and productivity.


• Assist the Director of IT with process improvement initiatives.


• Stay updated with new technolgies and security threats to ensure network stays protected.


• Maintain passwords and update passwords on a regular schedule.


• Perform software and firmware updates as required.


• Assist with network-related tickets using Atera.


• Maintain and troubleshoot Wi-Fi issues.

Required Skills and Attributes:

• Knowledgeable with network infrastructure and applications.


• Strong understanding of Hyper-V, IP, DNS, DHCP.


• Proficiency in ERP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications.


• Good verbal and written communication skills.


• Excellent project management skills.


• Education Requirements: High School Diploma; B.S. in Computer Science or a related field,


• preferred.
