Job Details
Position: Operations Engineer
Location: Wauwatosa, WI
Experienced Project Management professionals with expertise in Mechanical design for product development preferably healthcare devices include knowledge on financial management.
What You will Do:
- Developing a detailed project plan outlining milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Documentation of process improvements and best practices.
- Final project report summarizing outcomes and savings achieved
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including Industrial design, Electrical, Marketing and purchasing teams.
- Interact with global design and manufacturing teams to design for manufacturability, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure all mechanical engineering activities are executed as per the development procedure.
Technical Competency:
- Experience in design of Electro-Mechanical products (Ex: Medical devices, Consumer appliances)
- Able to work independently & experience with working in cross functional teams.
- Good analytical skills in problem solving, identifying the technical risks and mitigating them systematically.
- Demonstrated ability to assist and manage the PMO process, ensuring seamless coordination, governance, and execution across all project phases.
- Proficiency in utilizing project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent) to track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Knowledge in change management to ensure stakeholder alignment and adoption of new processes
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor s degree of Mechanical Engineering or Product design (Mechanical) with 4 to 6 years working experience in a Product Design and Development environment.
- Medical devices product development experience will be an added advantage.
- Project management activities execution of across all project phases
- Proficient in English Language
