Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated Equipment Qualification Specialist / Validation Analyst to support the Analytical Sciences group. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in equipment qualification, validation technologies, and laboratory instrumentation tracking. This role will focus on the qualification, execution, and documentation of lab equipment, temperature control units (TCUs), and instrumentation, ensuring compliance and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, execute, and summarize equipment qualification protocols for various small-scale lab equipment and TCUs.

  • Support decommissioning and/or relocation of laboratory equipment through change control processes.

  • Maintain and update departmental equipment tracking records.

  • Perform gap assessments and recommend best practices for equipment validation and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with teams for Preventive Maintenance (PM), Calibration, and Deviation management programs.

  • Ensure all qualifications and related activities are compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industries.

  • Proven expertise in validation technology related to laboratory instruments and equipment.

  • Familiarity with Preventive Maintenance, Calibration programs, and Deviation management.

  • Strong understanding of change control processes for equipment relocation and decommissioning.

  • Excellent documentation skills and ability to summarize qualification outcomes.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
