Job Details

Qualifications -

+ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or higher)
+ 6+ years of experience in the MEP industry
+ Licensed Professional Engineer (or on track to obtain PE license)
+ Strong communication and leadership skills
+ Familiarity with coordinating multi-discipline projects
Preferred:
+ Proficiency with Revit
+ Passion for community-centered design

Responsibilities -

+ Lead the electrical design process for new construction and renovation projects, with a focus on mission-critical facilities
+ Develop conceptual designs, equipment selection, construction drawings, and specifications
+ Coordinate design requirements with all relevant disciplines to ensure code compliance and constructability
+ Represent the owner during construction, including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and site inspections
+ Manage project quality, schedule, and budget expectations
+ Guide clients through design options and decision-making
+ Mentor and support junior designers and engineers
