Location: Charlotte, NC - 300 S Brevard St (Onsite)

Contract Length: 12 Months

Pay Range: $65-$70/hr
Top Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle or MongoDB
  • 2+ years of experience with Kafka, REST APIs, Microservices/SOA, and Cloud (Azure, Kubernetes, Google, or PCF)Plusses
  • Experience in front-end development using Angular or React
  • Experience with Oracle Service Bus and Wholesale Payments
  • Strong design background in Design Patterns, Domain-Driven Design, and Event-Based Integration
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior developersJob Summary

    This contingent Software Engineer 4 role supports complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives within the Technology and Data team. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using modern technologies. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work across multiple teams and platforms.
    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot

    Work with databases such as Oracle or MongoDB and implement stored procedures

    Develop and integrate REST APIs and Microservices

    Implement messaging and streaming solutions using Kafka

    Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders

    Contribute to cloud migration and containerization efforts

    Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design and architecture decisions

    Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
