Job Title: Business Operations Specialist
Location: St. Paul, MN (Hybrid - Onsite 3x/week after training)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30 am to 4:30 pm CST
Contract Type: W-2 Contract / 4-months (potential to extend/convert)
Pay Rate: $28/hour


About the Role:
We re hiring a Business Operations Specialist to support client onboarding for a major financial services company. This role is part of a collaborative team responsible for setting up and maintaining internal policy administration systems for credit protection products. If you enjoy variety, cross-functional work, and are technically curious, this is a great opportunity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform QA for new client system implementations setup, testing, and administration

  • Ensure systems are properly configured for premiums and claims

  • Collaborate with clients, third-party vendors, and internal teams on onboarding logistics

  • Test forms with external vendors to verify accurate system configurations

  • Support internal stakeholders by answering system-related questions

  • Coordinate project timelines and documentation with internal departments

  • Work with sales and underwriting to validate program setup details

  • Continuously seek efficiencies across shared tools and implementation processes


Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team


Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with credit protection products and related systems (e.g., VIVA, Stone Eagle, HOA)

  • Experience in new client implementation or similar project coordination

  • Understanding of compliance requirements within financial products


Work Environment:
This role offers a hybrid schedule you ll work onsite three days per week (varies) with flexibility to work remotely after your initial training period. Candidates must live within a 90-minute commute of the office.
