Summary: Responsible for managing the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principles into the design and development of software and IT processes. Ensures products, applications, and systems comply with established quality standards and meet customer requirements. Champions quality principles in business and IT processes through training, communication programs, and team activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality processes and principles in software and IT development.
- Ensure execution of quality methods and procedures.
- Analyze best-in-class processes and establish customer satisfaction metrics.
- Research, develop, and implement testing methods and procedures.
- Monitor and report on product defects and quality standards compliance.
- Lead and facilitate training, meetings, and communication programs related to quality principles.
- Act as a project leader and subject matter expert on multiple complex projects.
- Mentor and manage supervisors, project leaders, and technical staff.
- Report to senior-level management on quality assurance activities and outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of systems development and business experience.
- Experience in developing and conducting test processes for various systems and users across an organization.
- Prior management, supervisory, or team leader experience.
- Experience in middle-level management in quality assurance functions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under general direction of senior-level management.
