Responsibilities:
- Support quality engineering function and responsible for cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) development covering UAT and PROD validation requirements
- Perform technical requirements and use case analysis for testing and test automation development objectives
- Develop new and execute existing IaC test code, evaluate results against acceptance criteria, create /maintain bugs discovered
Requirements:
- Expertise working in a CI/CD pipeline controlled environment leveraging a standard IDE (MSVS), and required tools/apps that facilitate the pipeline
- Versed in server operating systems and configurations (Windows and Linux), infrastructure hosting components, and cloud virtualization technology for Infrastructure as a service enablement
- Experience in Hashicorp Terraform / Vault
- Experience in Windows OS and Office productivity suite of applications
- Strong experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Insomnia)
- Strong understanding of Linux (RHEL) and Windows environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their DevOps services
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; comfortable speaking out in a team or project setting
- Experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, Perl, Go, and shell scripting
Desired skills:
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Familiarity with Jira for task and issue tracking
- Experience with service validation and testing in enterprise environments
