Position Summary:

Title: Developer Standard III Python ETL Developer

Duration: 12 Months - Long Term

Location: Washington, DC

5 Days onsite per week from Day1

Background:
The Enterprise Data Management (EDM) team is seeking a Python ETL Developer to work on sourcing data to their cloud platform. The candidate should have prior experience working in Python data stack and very good SQL experience. Python scripting in the data space is a must. The person would be working on sourcing the data into the cloud platform from internal/external sources and support existing.

Scope of Work:
The candidate will be responsible for completion of assigned duties and report to the Team Lead. The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions:
Use Python to perform ETL/ELT type of work in the Finance space.
Use communication skills to work with end users in analyzing their requirements.
Use analytical skills to learn our users business processes, document the data and process models and troubleshoot and maintain existing applications.

Skill Set Requirements:
Proficiency in Python scripting and prior experience working with large datasets in Python.
Experience with Python data processing libraries.
More than 8+ years of experience in Python ETL Development
Good SQL experience.
Proficiency to Develop and implement robust ELT/ETL processes to efficiently handle data extraction, loading and transformation loading from various sources into the cloud platform.
Knowledge of Dremio is preferred but not mandatory.
8+ years of experience working in Data Management systems with a strong focus on Python-based solutions.
Proficiency in reference Data Management systems and experience in sql.
Knowledge of Power BI reporting.
Ability to interact with clients and provide quality production support.
Proven conceptual, analytical, and judgmental skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
