Payrate: $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
Summary:
The Associate, Software QA, will be hands-on and act as an information resource about assigned areas of responsibility to other Quality Assurance staff and possess leadership capabilities for multiple complex projects. He or she will design, implement, maintain and recommend changes about the new functions and features to update the test plans and produce evaluation processes. He or She will work closely with Developer and Project Managers in leading the projects and represent Quality Assurance group on all projects launched. The Software QA Associate will play a dual role in ensuring software quality assurance and overseeing carrier-related projects management tasks. This position is responsible for coordinating with internal teams, vendors and carrier partners to ensure projects stay on schedule, meet quality standards and align with the latest telecommunications technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of telecom ecosystems, software testing processes and project management principles to effectively support all phases of carrier-driven projects.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating and tracking carrier-related projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams, external partners and carriers to maintain clear communications and alignment on project goals.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables and risks; escalate issues and propose solutions to management.
- Prepare project documentation, including schedules, reports and meeting notes to keep stakeholders informed.
- Support testing teams in terms of preparing carrier deliverables and provided necessary information, logistics and devices sourcing in case required.
- Gather specifications of products and understand the test scope, schedule, effort, resources, and execution plan.
- Strong and effective interdepartmental communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of client and staff.
- Provide general administrative support to the organization
- Develop deep understanding of mobile handset products from customer operational perspective
- Works closely with MQL (Mobile Quality Lab) testing teams in the US and S/W Engineering and Development Group in HQ.
- Execute software QA processes for carrier-integrated products, including functional, regression and interoperability testing.
- Review carrier requirements and ensure software features meet compliance and performance standards.
- Identify, log and track software defects; collaborate with developers to verify fixes and improvement.
- Stay informed about emerging telecommunications technologies (e.g. 5G, 6G, IoT, MVNO/MNO, eSIM, RCS, Network Slicing, NTN etc.) and their implications on ongoing projects.
- Provide technical insights to support decision-making and enhance QA testing strategies
- Work with product, engineering and operations teams to support seamless project execution.
- Facilitate coordination between QA, development teams and carrier representatives for test planning and issue resolution.
Qualification(Background and Experience)
- Bachelor s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Project Management or QA certifications (e.g. PMP, ISTQB) are a plus.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in software QA, project coordination or carrier project management in the telecommunications industry.
- Hands-on experience with QA methodologies, test cases creation and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, TestRail).
- Familiarity with telecom technologies usch as LTE, VoLTE, 5G, VoNR, 6G and carrier integration process.
- Must be BILINGUAL in KOREAN (fluent) and ENGLISH (fluent)
- As required to write a proejct reports and create a process proposals and be able to present to the leadership in both languages.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with diverse teams.
