Position: Help Desk & Trainer (Data)

Location: Remote

Length: 6+ Months

No H1B
Job Responsibilities:

  • WORK ARRANGEMENT:
    • 100% Remote in Wisconsin.
    • The candidate must be a current resident of Wisconsin.
    • If not a current WI resident, the candidate must be relocated by the start date.
    • Some minimal travel (510%) may be required for in-person conferences or workshops.
  • Here is what I need to see (IMHO) to warrant qualifying a candidate deeply:
    1. 1-2 Years of Helpdesk roles
    2. 1-2 Years as a Trainer / Mentor to customers (in helpdesk capacity)
    3. 1-2 Years of Data Reporting roles
    4. Ideally, two or more of the following:
      • Exposure to WISEdata, WISEdash, or Wisconsin Schools/Districts, or education software systems anywhere in US
      • Work supporting Data Warehouse or Business Intelligence solutions

REQUIRED SKILLS: (Need Majority; 1-2+ Years)

  • Serve as a customer service contact for data reporting for Wisconsin schools and districts.
  • Create, oversee, and monitor requests, incidents, and resolutions using ticketing software.
  • Work with school districts to help them understand how to use WISEdata and WISEdash for data reviews.
  • Openness to presenting training sessions and materials. Experience preferred.
  • Monitor and support district reporting progress and ensure data errors are resolved.
  • Assist WISEdata product owner with business process analysis and improvements.
  • Conduct data health checks using the WISEdata portal and WISEdash visualizations and download tools.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Understanding of API technologies.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting.
  • Experience working in education software systems at school/district/state level.
  • Provide on-site or virtual training.
