Data Analyst and BI Specialist needed: 100% Remote
We have an opening with a great client of ours and we are looking for a Data Analyst and BI Specialist to work a Remote position. This is a Long term contract position, and you must be a to apply. Required: ship and Residency, W2 hourly Contract Only, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry)

DATA ANALYST AND BI SPECIALIST
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst and Power BI Specialist to join our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Full Stack AI Developer to analyze data, create visualizations, and support the automation of GRC workflows. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization, and experience with Power BI
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Full Stack AI Developer to identify data requirements and support AI-driven automation initiatives
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights for GRC activities
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key GRC metrics and performance indicators
- Automate data collection and reporting processes to enhance the efficiency of GRC workflows
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis and reporting
- Work with stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs and deliver solutions that meet those requirements
- Provide training and support to GRC team members on the use of Power BI dashboards and reports
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization
Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on data visualization and reporting
- Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Excel, Python, or R
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in GRC-related projects or industries
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and data integration tools
- Understanding of regulatory compliance standards and frameworks
