Responsibilities:
- XXgn, deploy, and manage enterprise-level VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN).
- Lead initiatives to upgrade and patch virtualization infrastructure and related systems.
- Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and provide tuning recommendations.
- Implement and maintain high availability (HA), DRS, and fault tolerance (FT) configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to VMware components and integrations.
- Automate VMware tasks using PowerCLI, vRealize Orchestrator, or other scripting tools.
- Provide tier-3 escalation support and mentor junior engineers.
- CollaboXX with storage, network, and security teams for cross-functional projects.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and internal audit requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science, or related technology field from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Related technical institute certification preferred.
- Eight years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include four years of experience designing, implementing and maintaining technology infrastructure; configuring and troubleshooting.
- Senior engineer that can run / support VMware 6.7 8.x, ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, vRops, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills PC liteXX, including Microsoft Office products.
- Analytical and interpretive skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accuXX and constructive written reports.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
