Job Description:

"Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL workflows using SQL Informatica and legacy scripts

Work with DB2 and Teradata databases to support highvolume data processing and storage

Maintain and enhance COBOLbased batch processing systems used in legacy data operations

Develop and optimize SQL queries stored procedures and database logic for performance and scalability

Integrate data from various sources and systems ensuring high data quality and consistency

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across ETL workflows database jobs and mainframe data interfaces

Participate in modernization efforts to migrate or integrate legacy systems with modern platforms

Document data architecture processes and technical solutions clearly and concisely

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including analysts architects and business users to define and implement data solutions

Required Qualifications

Minimum 4- 6 years of experience in data engineering or ETL development roles

Advanced SQL skills with experience writing and optimizing complex queries

Proven handson experience with DB2 and Teradata databases

Understanding and practical experience with COBOL particularly in data processing environments

Experience with Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL tools for data integration and transformation

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail

Experience working with largescale datasets in enterprise environments

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with mainframe environments eg IBM zOS

Experience in Retail Travel and Hospitality financial services insurance healthcare or other dataintensive industries

Basic knowledge of cloud data platforms AWS is a plus

Scripting skills eg Python Shell for automation and orchestration"
