Join the Media & Technology team as a Product Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in designing and rolling out news production graphics solutions. You will be responsible for solving complex problems across various production, operations, and editorial stakeholder groups, with a special focus on live graphics for television news. This role is responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, and managing the rollout of new systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with operations and production teams to identify and address specific needs in television news graphics workflows.
  • Lead the integration and optimization of graphics systems, including working with vendors and solutions like Ross Xpression, Adobe, Vizrt, and others.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of news graphics projects, from initial concept to deployment and post-launch support.
  • Work closely with software development, media operations, product development, and editorial groups to develop and refine graphics solutions.
  • Play a key role in the change management process, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption of new graphics technologies and workflows.
  • Design and implement training programs for staff on new graphics systems and workflows.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the latest trends and technologies in live television news graphics.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of expereince in television, streaming, or digital news production, with a specific focus on live news graphics workflows.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with operations, production, and technology teams in a media environment.
  • Knowledge of various live graphics systems and vendors, and the ability to stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the field.
  • Familiarity with Newsroom Computer Systems (Dalet, iNews, ENPS) and broadcast rundown processes.
  • Experience in product management, particularly in media or graphics-related projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in software development or UX design, particularly in solutions related to live television graphics.

The hiring range for this position in NYC is 142,600.00-$191,100.00 per year a based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
