Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Project Scheduler to support t he Tactical Data Networks Enterprise (TDNE) program office, which is within the Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNA) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

The Tactical Data Networks Enterprise (TDNE) contributes to the development, delivery and deployment of the next generation aerial layer network through a portfolio of legacy and advanced waveforms and airborne network management/development efforts that advance interoperability and connectivity

LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA

JOB STATUS: Full time; salaried

JOB RESPONSBILITIES:
  • Plan, build, coordinate, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for division programs and projects and/or provide technical assistance to program/project managers.
  • Communicate and coordinate IMS activities among the functional disciplines within the division.
  • Provide IMS technical products (e.g., GANTT charts, network diagrams, etc.) as required for division level leadership
  • Ensure integrated schedule management technical support to system acquisition processes and collaborate and incorporate key schedule requirements to ensure mission success
  • Support program/project requirements development, plan preparation, and assess ability to achieve results.
  • Communicate schedule objectives, plans, and status to the customer, the project team, and management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Advance understanding and working knowledge of project scheduling tools, specifically Microsoft Project and Project Server
  • Ability to review, evaluate, and make recommendations on project schedules (IMS) submitted by vendor contractors for completeness, logic, and critical path(s)
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience (5 DoD), or 20 years of directly related experience (8 DoD)
  • MUST have an active US security clearance.
