Epic System Analyst / Epic Technical Analyst
Skilled IT Professional with training in one or more Epic software modules: Bridges, Healthy Planet, Care Everywhere or HIM. The Epic Analyst should understand Clinical workflows, Industry standard Data types (HL7, XML, X12) with the Ability to perform data analysis on Clinical and HL7 Data.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years Epic Experience: Interface Implementation, Data Analysis, Error Remediation (Bridges Work Queue), End- User Support, Epic System Production Support (Epic Upgrades, Optimization Project work).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Minimum 5 years of Epic Experience as a Bridge s, Care Everywhere, HIM Analyst.
Epic Interface Responsibilities includes: Interface Build, Testing & Applying Updates to existing interfaces, Build Migration between Environments, Epic Work Queue Maintenance (Error remediation).
Experience and or knowledge of Clinical Workflows.
Minimum 5 years of experience working with the following message types: Admissions Discharge Transfer, Appointment, Prior Authorization.
Experience parsing and interpreting the following data types: HL7, XML, X12.
Strong communication, organizational and reporting skills
Production Support: Application Enhancements, Epic System Upgrades, Production Connection Optimization.
Act as a liaison between Epic Team and Hyperspace Users: Investigate, Analyze, Address/Resolve reported data issues.
Collaborate with internal teams and or Epic Provider Groups to ensure testing, validation and data quality is aligned with Elevance Data User Requirements.
End User/Project Support--Understand Epic Clinical & ADT Data Users workflows with the objective to document business data requirements needs for Internal Teams: Risk Adjustments, HEDIS, Utilization Management, Care Management & Prior Auth.
Ability to perform the following tasks: Hyperspace Demonstrations, Review-Resolve Quarterly Epic Release notes, Complete Build changes for quarterly system upgrades.
Actively participates in Epic Payer Platform Meetings: EPP team, provider group, Data Exchange meetings.
Develop Reporting Workbench Reports to support End-Users research request, data inquiries, project requirements, intra-team workflows or data collection initiatives.
Provide weekly status for assigned project deliverables as well as upcoming milestones.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Epic Tools/Utilities, Issue Tracking, Content Management
Experience & Knowledge of Care Everywhere Backfill and Batch Job Utilities.
Experience utilizing Industry Standard or Proprietary Tools: Jira, Confluence, Teams, Zoom, Ultra Edit, Interface Explorer, XML Spy, Excel, PowerPoint. MS Word
Epic Support Log (SLG s) creation and maintenance.
EDUCATION
B.S. or minimum 5 year s Clinical/EHR Experience
