The Business Process Analyst identifies and combines various and sometimes disparate subsystems into unified wholes, useful in accomplishing overall business objectives. This role documents the existing inventory of applications, creates application scorecards, conducts stakeholder surveys to build out the application portfolio, documents application, systems, and infrastructure architecture, assesses existing infrastructural capacity, and presents to leadership and key stakeholders regarding needs and capabilities.

The ideal candidate will optimize business architecture through BPMN, VSM, and Process Mining, establishing full capture of business architecture from business capabilities through level 4 business processes. They will also launch implementation of an architectural repository, storing artifacts in single location, increasing compliance, improving communication, and reducing overall compliance findings.

The Requirements

  • Working knowledge of BPMN 2.0, UML, ArchiMate, ITIL, TOGAF or similar frameworks, they are using C4 Model right now instead of UML
  • Advanced MS Visio skills
  • Hands on experience with enterprise architecture platform (such as Orbus, LeanIX, Aris, etc.)
  • Intermediate or better Excel, PowerBI, SharePoint and PowerPoint skills
  • Large scale CRM and ERP system experience or project exposure a plus
  • Ability to develop training material and train end users

The Role

  • Capture inventory of all applications used company wide
  • Create application scorecards through stakeholder surveying
  • Maintain the application portfolio
  • Engage in working groups to streamline costs, determine risks and gaps and offer strategic support.
  • Document applications and integrations to other systems and ensure they work together as a unit.
  • Promote awareness of enterprise architecture function and support tools
  • Work with business groups and IT stakeholders to develop architecture diagrams in standard formats
  • Collect existing architecture and update enterprise architecture repository
  • Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed
