A role you will love

The Performance Test Engineer supports the Software Performance Test Manager on the performance test strategy across multiple applications with divisions throughout Computershare while reporting through Computershare Global Development. Working within the various projects the Performance Test Engineer will support the up lift of performance testing capabilities in the delivery teams through technical guidance, education, and mentoring.
The role works closely with stakeholders and teams, drawing out performance requirements as well as providing guidance on approach and implementation and ensuring transparency on progress and insight into performance issues. The role will also provide support to development and architecture teams providing guidance on performance during architecture, technology selection and application development.

Other Key Responsibilities include:
Contribute to performance testing activities across all divisions of Computershare, supporting the Quality Manager and aligning with the overall performance test strategy.
Assist teams in defining and implementing performance test plans, ensuring results are reported clearly to support informed release decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify performance requirements and ensure they are considered during planning and delivery.
Execute performance tests and share insights to help teams understand system behavior under load.
Provide technical input to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability, and help identify key metrics for reporting.
Support the development and maintenance of monitoring processes and performance testing tools.
Review and contribute to documentation such as design specifications, service transition plans, standard operating procedures, SLAs, and OLAs.
Participate in working groups and communities to share knowledge and support continuous improvement.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and practices and suggest improvements that benefit the business.
Contribute to building a Performance Center of Excellence within Computershare

What will you bring to the role?
Minimum of 2 years of experience in performance and load testing, including defining performance test plans and reporting results.
Experience with performance testing tools, such as Tricentris Neoload or other comparable tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, gatling, K-2 or Blazemeter.
JavaScript experience would be beneficial but is not required.
Experience or knowledge in Agile and DevOps including CI/CD.
Experience in Azure Cloud functionality would be considered an asset.
