Job Description:

We are seeking Data Quality/Data Masking Engineers to define, implement, and enforce data quality rules, data masking strategies, and compliance frameworks.

The Data Quality Engineer will work closely with Data Governance, ETL, and Business Teams to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and security across all data sources.

The Data Masking Engineer will be responsible for developing data masking strategies to support testing while maintaining compliance with data security regulations.

These roles will work very closely together and have many overlapping goals.

Hands-on and deep expertise in Databricks, Informatica Cloud, SQL (SQL dedicated pools), Synapse, Profisee is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and enforce data quality rulesusing Informatica Data Quality and Profisee.

will have IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services for Data Quality and Data Profiling), which is more commonly known as IDMC (Informatica Data Management Cloud).

  • Work with Azure Databricks and Purviewto track data integrity, lineage, and governance.
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, anomalies, and schema drifts.
  • Support real-time and batch data validation processes in Azure Data Factory.
  • Work closely with Business/Data Quality Analysts to ensure alignment with reporting needs.
  • Assist in developing automated validation frameworks for pre and post-migration testing.

Requirements:

  • 5+ yearsof experience in data quality engineering and data governance.
  • Strong knowledge of data security, masking techniques, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience working with Azure Databricks, Synapse, and Data Factory.
  • Familiarity with schema drift notifications and data reconciliation strategies.
  • Informatica Experience - will have IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services for Data Quality and Data Profiling), which is more commonly known as IDMC (Informatica Data Management Cloud).

Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of healthcare data governanceand metadata management is a plus.
  • K2 view and informatica would be nice for this one - but more important for data masking NOT Data Quality
