RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Alexandria, VA that is seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer.
Summary:
In this role, the Senior Cloud Operations Engineer will support the design, development and deployment of Azure VDI solutions in a secure Department of Defense (DoD) environment. This role will also support data migrations from legacy on-premises environments to the cloud. The Senior Cloud Operations Engineer will be part of a high-power team proving out a prototype for production at full scale. This position requires an understanding of major cloud platforms and technologies as well as the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* 8 years of general experience in cloud engineering roles or a related field
* Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
* Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
