Job description:
- The IBM Z Mainframe Technical Specialists will have 10+ year engineering experience with installing, configuring, customizing and supporting software components that run on the Z platform.
- The IBM Z Mainframe Technical Specialists will be skilled at debugging problems with system software including the use of specialized debugging tools to help determine where the components have failed. Will work directly software vendor as needed to determine configuration error and/or software product related.
- This also includes ISV software products.
- The Technical Specialist will be proficient in the use of JCL, SMP/E, JES2, TSO/ISPF and SDSF.
- Preferred skills include: HMC, IOCP/HCD, Parallel Sysplex, etc.
