Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Lead Software Production Mgmt & RE in Alpharetta, GA
Support core trading platform focused on Services Technology including E*Boss, Genie, live chat, IVR, Salesforce Integration application, MuleSoft mediation, Authentication, and authorization components along batch jobs. Handle service catalog for in-scope applications. Own the SLAs and KPIs for each service including Incident & Problem Management, Disaster Recovery, Change Management, and Batch Management. Conduct periodic software application service reviews with the executive stakeholders to gauge service effectiveness and improvement opportunities with a clear plan for managing risks and highlighting any deviations from the agreed service levels. Contribute to the knowledge management lifecycle and the development/upkeep of runbooks and standard operating procedures. Determine opportunities for automation and other operational efficiencies, planning, and driving them through to implementation. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $174,500 and $174,500 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Technical Architect, Software Developer, or related occupation in the technology field. Requires five (5) years of experience with: middleware integration based on JAVA, YAML Middleware, Messaging, Web Services, API Management and Multithreading; software design and development experience on JAVA; Linux operating system, shell scripting, cron job, ControlM, and CBSS; production support; communicating technical advice to clients, managers, and technical staff; IT systems and environment operations; Retail Brokerage environment and the associated technologies; leading a diverse group of resources to resolve real time incidents and problems; building and improving IT operational services; and building presentation decks.
