We are hiring an IT Service Desk Analyst on behalf of a global leader in the consumer packaged goods industry. The role is part of a centralized Global Shared Services team that supports enterprise-wide technology needs. As an IT Service Desk Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, in-person technical support to employees at corporate headquarters.
Job Description
As an IT Service Desk Analyst, you will provide Level 1 IT support in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You ll troubleshoot hardware, software, and AV issues, resolve service requests, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the employee experience. This role requires strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person technical support for laptops, software, and AV equipment in conference rooms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees across all levels.
- Monitor and manage escalations from external service providers.
- Maintain and update service documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
- Meet performance metrics related to service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support or help desk environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Active Directory (AD)
- Computer Hardware Support
- Microsoft Office 365
- Working knowledge of:
- Microsoft Windows 11
- Microsoft Office Suite
- VPN and network connectivity
- Computer hardware and peripherals
- Cybersecurity fundamentals
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Organizational skills and adaptability to changing priorities. Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate s degree or IT certification/accreditation.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
