ATM Lab Technician (Manager)
Charlotte, NC
Hybrid 3 Days in 2 Days Remote (Could change to 5 days on-site in future)
12 Month Contract (Can be extended to 24 Months)
Description
This client supports approximately 16000 ATMs. The software on our AMs is updated frequently to deliver security and feature enhancements. These updates are first tested in our charlotte labs on a combination of physical and emulated hardware. In support of this testing operation, we maintain a lab of approximately 50 ATMs and 150 virtual machines. We seek a candidate to help with the maintenance of physical hardware in our Charlotte lab, combined with experience in software installation and configuration.
Job Description
Prepare Physical ATM hardware for test:
-Ensure all devices operative and in good working condition prior to test
-Configure physical devices to support different test scenarios
-Diagnose and resolve basic hardware issues (faults/jams)
-Diagnose networking / connectivity issues
-Coordinate complicated repairs with on-site technicians
Install and Configure Software:
-Install software to Physical ATMS using USB sticks and remote distribution tools (SCCM)
-Install software to Virtual Machines
-Initiate scripted software installs to virtual machines
-Review software installations for success/failure and remediate failures
-Install software to Physical ATMS using remote distribution tools (SCCM)

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
