Overview
We require highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical QAQC Engineer to join our Mission Critical to support the commissioning of electrical systems for confidential Mission Critical data center projects. This role ensures that all electrical systems are installed, tested, and functioning according to design specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. This role is pivotal in ensuring the electrical infrastructure meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance during the commissioning phase of hyperscale and enterprise-level data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Inspection & Validation
    • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems including switchgear, UPS, generators, PDUs, grounding systems, and distribution panels.
    • Verify installation against design specifications... CXPOR 8.2,NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and client standards as required.
    • Witness and validate functional testing, load bank testing, and integrated systems testing (L2/L3 to IST)
    • Ability to read single line diagrams.
    • Extensive hands-on experience inspecting switchgear (up to 15kV), transformers, bus duct, generators, cable trays, and grounding systems.
    • Experience creating managing inspection test plans (ITPs), QC procedures, NCRs, O&M manuals, and turnover packages;
    • Deeply experienced with LOTO procedures, NEC, and testing/verification (megger, torque, continuity, insulation resistance, etc.).
    • Understands the most updated NEC code book and enforcing compliance standards thereof.
  • Commissioning Support
    • Collaborate with commissioning agents, contractors, and engineers to execute commissioning scripts and procedures.
    • Document and report deficiencies, track corrective actions, and ensure resolution prior to turnover.
    • Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) as needed.
  • Quality Control & Compliance
    • Implement and maintain quality control protocols throughout the commissioning lifecycle.
    • Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
    • Maintain detailed inspection logs, punch lists, and quality documentation.
    • Issue resolution compliance and knowledge within Mission Critical platform to document and resolve.
  • Safety & Risk Management
    • High level of LOTO familiarity and activities.
    • Enforce safety standards and procedures during all inspection and testing activities.
    • Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, LOTO standards, and electrical testing protocols.
  • Familiarity with commissioning software and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Working on a previous Microsoft or AMZ projects a plus.
Preferred Certifications
  • Certified Electrical Inspector (ICC or equivalent)
  • Commissioning Certification (CxA, BCxP, or similar)
  • OSHA 30
  • NFPA 70E Training
