Role : IT/OT Security Architect Midstream Operations
Location - Remote (USA/Canada)
Duration : Long term contract
Job Description
Must Have:
- Proven experience in building secure IT/OT hybrid enclave networks within midstream Oil and Gas environments, with a focus on operational resilience and compliance.
- Lead the development of multi-tiered infrastructure aligned with the Purdue Model 2.0, facilitating secure data flow from Level 0/1 devices (sensors, PLCs) to cloud-based analytics and control systems.
- Ensure all infrastructure components comply with NERC-CIP standards and are developed under TSA cybersecurity guidelines for pipeline security and critical asset protection.
- Define and enforce industrial security policies, perform risk assessments, and ensure secure integration of OT assets with enterprise IT systems.
- Select, configure, and deploy industrial networking and security technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, secure switches, etc.) that meet the unique requirements of OT environments.
- Strong understanding of network segmentation, firewalls, and secure remote access in an OT environment.
- Expertise in IT and OT network segmentation technologies, such as Cisco SD-Access, Nozomi Networks, Zscaler, Cisco TrustSec, and Palo Alto firewalls, to implement Zero Trust security architectures.
